Preventing Crisis.
Promoting Stability.
Empowering Success.
Helping individuals and families across Dallas–Fort Worth move from crisis to opportunity — and from dependency to self-sufficiency.
"Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me." — Matthew 25:40
Our Mission
Community Support Services empowers individuals and families throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex by providing comprehensive support services that promote stability, self-sufficiency, educational advancement, workforce participation, and community well-being.
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me… Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me."— Matthew 25:35–36, 40

A Single Crisis Should Not Define a Family's Future.
Low-income families across our community face rising housing costs, unstable employment, and a fractured support system. A missed paycheck. A medical emergency. A utility shutoff. Any one of these can trigger a spiral that leads to eviction, homelessness, and long-term instability.
Most programs that exist to help have waitlists exceeding six months. Families in crisis today cannot wait six months.
Community Support Services was built to close that gap — with rapid-response, person-centered support that meets people where they are and walks with them toward lasting stability.
- Serving individuals, single parents, and families navigating crisis
- Rapid response — no months-long waitlists
- Faith-inspired. Community-rooted. Results-driven.
What Makes Us Different
Three principles that guide everything we do.
Integrated Delivery
Case management, workforce development, education, and resource navigation — coordinated under one program. One team, one plan, one outcome.
Rapid Response
While other programs take months, we move immediately. Because a family facing eviction today cannot afford to wait until tomorrow.
Relational, Not Transactional
Every person who comes to us receives a personalized support plan — built around their specific situation, goals, and timeline. Not a number in a queue.
How We Help
Four areas of direct support for individuals and families navigating crisis.
Case Management & Family Stabilization
One-on-one support to identify goals, overcome barriers, and access resources that improve quality of life.
Workforce Initiative
Resume development, interview prep, job placement, and employer partnerships that build sustainable careers.
Education & Career Advancement
GED, HSE, ESL, vocational, and college navigation support that opens doors for lifelong learning.
Resource Navigation & Homeless Outreach
Connecting people experiencing homelessness or hardship to housing, food, healthcare, and benefits.
Measuring What Matters.
In year one, our goal is to serve 50 families with employment support, resource navigation, and personalized case management. By year two, we expand to 100 families annually.
Every outcome is tracked — housing retention at 3, 6, and 12 months. Employment placements. Income improvements. Reduction in repeat emergency requests. Because impact must be visible, measurable, and real.
We are not building a program. We are building a pathway.
